Do weight loss patches really work? You want the short answer. Then no, weight loss patches do not work and I’m going to go on a bit of a diatribe about weight loss products and other weight loss solutions that seem too good to be true. And you know what they say about that old worn out cliche? If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. Folks, losing weight is easy, or should I say losing weight is simple but it requires good ol’ perseverance, dedication and effort.
Let’s look at some quick numbers to see how you got fat in the first place. Or rather how anyone gets fat. Let’s say you need 2000 calories a day to maintain a normal body weight. If you eat 3000 calories per day then that is 1000 additional calories you didn’t need which means that in a week (multiply by 7) you’ll have eaten 7000 calories more than you need. So in a week you’ll likely gain 2 pounds all things being equal.
What I’m saying is that it takes time to put on weight, and it’s gonna take time to take the weight back off. Little patches aren’t going to do it for you. A weight loss patch is likely less effective than a nicotine patch and none of us would use a nicotine patch for weight loss. That’s just insane. So if you really want a weight loss patch that works then why not buy yourself a square bandaid and attach it to your arm and let the placebo affect take its course. This is going to save you a bunch of money, and give you the same weight loss results.
All of the legitimate weight loss patch reviews will tell you the same thing. The ones that say that weight loss patches do work are the ones that are getting big commissions when suckering you into buying this junk weight loss product.
These weight loss products really scratch at my craw. This is the new 21st century weight loss snake oil sales strategies that have been used over and over again. They’ll show you great pictures of people who lost so much weight with weight loss patches and they’ll have these great testimonials but it’s all BS, unless of course folks have incorporated diet and exercise, though it is my opinion that exercise is less important to weight loss. Honestly, you can’t outrun a bad diet.
Folks, I don’t mean to be callous or disrespectful of the suffering, but prisoners of war who have come out internment camps are all lean. And this is because they simply weren’t fed enough calories. If you consume less calories than you need, then you’re gonna lose weight. Period. It’s that simple. And yeah, it’s hard work to maintain a disciplined approach to diet and exercise, but you can do it if you set your mind to it.
Please, ignore the hype of weight loss patches, weight loss pills and other shenanigans. Some products, like pills with strong diuretics or stimulants and appetite suppressants will offer some help, but the long term effects are not worth it. Stay the course, with a natural healthy diet and intermittent fasting to boost your weight loss efforts and you’ll have excellent weight loss success stories of your own.
I’ve written before about fast weight loss, nutrition tips for weight loss and fasting for weight loss. And I’ll be offering a free comprehensive weight loss course in the near future. I want you to succeed. But I want you to have long term success that doesn’t cost you your health. Please, do me a favor, stay away from weight loss patches.
